Busy Times!

Once again I have fallen behind on the blogging. Things have been quite busy since coming back from Seattle and I feel like my to-do list is pretty long as we prepare for Christmas! Cayden had a rough couple of weeks adjusting back to not being the center of attention, which I had to deal with :). So we made it through that rough spot and now we are busy with all the "normal" Christmas stuff and I am afraid it won't end until we leave for Iowa. We are now in the waiting process of Matthew's interview process. We know for sure that Matthew has one interview in Colorado and one interview in Oregon and are still awaiting to hear more good news over the next week. By the 21st we will know for sure where all Matthew's interviews will be at and then we plan the traveling part of it. So January is going to be a little bit crazy but also exciting as we wait for the next step in this internship process! Please keep us in your prayers over this next few months as we figure out where we will be placed for the next year! Here are a few pictures of the past few weeks!
It finally rained here! It is pretty crazy when it rains since it rarely happens, Cayden is always pretty fascinated and likes to watch the rain . . . wow! This child will not realize how often it does rain outside of S. California, he will be in for a big surprise if we move!
Wow . . . it's raining!
Last Wednesday, the 9th, Cayden turned 23 months . . . meaning only one more month til he turns 2 . . . so crazy!!!! He is only looking more and more grown up every day!
Finally a smile!
Let us not forget about his sports obsession . . . I don't think this will change anytime soon, but we love that about him! I am sure we will be super busy someday with all the sports he will want to be apart of!
This past Saturday Matthew's cousin, Nathan, came to hang out! Cayden had a lot of fun with him! So nice to catch up with him before Christmas break!
So I wanted Cayden to help me mix the pudding but he had other ideas . . . like sneaking candy from the candy dish that I have strategically put where he can't reach it :), but I guess since I put him on the counter, my plan failed!
That is what I wanted him to do . . . he loves helping me bake/cook, pudding is something easy at least!
Today I attempted to take some pictures in downtown Glendora by the big Christmas tree . . . it is tough getting my 2-year old to both look at the camera and smile. I would say Cayden look at Mommy and smile and he would say "Noooooo" (pictured below).
O.k. we will take that one! Just gearing up for more Christmas pictures in the next few weeks!
