We started a reward system with Cayden to work on a few things! Once he earns 5 stickers he gets to play 1/2 hour of Wii! This eliminates some fights throughout the day and it seems to be working :)!
Cayden got 5 stickers!! Wahoo!!!! He gets so excited when he finally earns all his stickers! This usually means he wants to play Wii right then and there!!! Glad it's working so far!

Swimming Pool!

We got a new swimming pool for Cayden for the summer-we miss our pool in Azusa!! At least he can enjoy this one in our backyard!!! He loves that it has a slide :)!

No fear at all in our child :)



We have already been able to use this several times, even if it hasn't been too warm here yet! We are hoping for better weather for the next few months!!!!

Father's Day!

Here are a few pictures from Father's Day! Matthew is a wonderful Father and Husband and we are so thankful for him! He is crazy about his two boys and they are crazy about him!

On Father's Day we drove up to Mt. Hood to see the summit! It was quite eventful once we got there as I ended up tending to Nolan the whole time in the car and Cayden and Matthew explored. It was so cold up there that we decided not to take Nolan out of the car! Maybe I will explore next time! So this was the only picture we got of Matthew and Cayden in the parking lot in front of the summit :)!

6 Weeks Old

I know I am now about a month and a half behind because Nolan is almost 3 months and these are his 6 week pictures! I will catch up one of these days I promise-and that day will be a glorious day!! Enjoy a few pictures of our "new" little man! He has been a great baby so far, what a blessing he is!!

The Portland Zoo!

We were finally able to make it to the Portland Zoo! My new friend, Tracy and her son, Cooper have zoo passes and were able to get us in as well! We thought it was supposed to be a nice day but surprise! It rained, once again :(, oh well we still had a lot of fun!

Water Time!

Summertime equals swimming for Cayden! He has grown to love swimming after his first few years of not really liking it. Crazy how we move from California where we were able to swim all the time to moving to Oregon where we can't and now Cayden likes the water . . . hmm!

For now Nolan just enjoys his baths or actually getting out of the bath in his warm towel :)!

7 Years!

June 12 marked our 7 year anniversary! Crazy how quickly 7 years have gone by! In 7 years we have moved three times, lived in two different states, survived Matthew getting his Doctorate degree, had two wonderful little boys, survived many trials, and grown in our love for one another and most importantly our God! What a crazy 7 years it has been but as crazy as it has been I am glad that I have Matthew to go on this crazy life journey with me! I love you Matthew, can't wait to see what the next year holds!

On our anniversary, we went on a hike on Mt. Talbert! It was a pretty nice day and great to get outside for awhile! And here is one of our biggest blessings acting like his crazy self :)! He thought we were going camping no matter how many times we explained it was just a hike :)!

Family picture! Nolan and Cayden did great on the hike! Was a great day to be with our family to celebrate our anniversary! Looking forward to going on more hikes this summer!
