Pineapple Classic 2011!!!

I apologize in advance for the amount of pictures I am about to post! Our photographer-Brett De Yager followed us throughout the entire race and documented our awesome team and about every step of the way :)!! I did cut it down to 41 pictures out of the 200 :) Thanks Brett, so glad we have these to remember how much fun we had!!!  

This year, Natasha, Joy, Courtney, and I decided to take part in the Pineapple Classic 5K race, which was a fundraiser for Leukemia!  This was the first time any of had run this race and we had a blast!! It was cold, wet, and muddy but that didn't stop us from having a lot of fun-and yes, we did get dirty :)!

Here is our team: DutchPlusOne (all of us are Dutch but Courtney :), so we thought it was a fun name )!!

Nolan: 6 Months!

We now have a 6 Month old on our hands! It is so crazy that he has been in our family for a year and a half already! Where does the time go? I tell my boys to stop growing sometimes because they are getting big way too fast!  Anyways, November 5,  Nolan hit the 6 month mark! He weighed approximately 16 pounds, was 27 inches long, and his his head circumference measured 17 inches!  He has started to eat solid food a bit more consistently, but sometimes I forget to give him "real" food!  He takes 3-4 naps a day and is usually only up for about 1.5-2 hours before he needs a nap!  At night he can sleep up to 8-9 hours (but not always by any means) in a row but then usually wakes up to eat. Someday he will sleep through the night :)!   

Nolan is definitely sitting up now! He really enjoys being a part of things especially with his big brother to entertain him :)!

He often falls over so he can be on his stomach and attempt to crawl :)

I am pretty sure he is teething as he always tries to have something in his mouth as he bites away!

In general, he is a very content little boy

Who likes to "play", be tickled, and chew on things :)

I love the smiles he gives us each day!

And Nolan would like to be crawling but hasn't quite got the moving forward thing down yet-he can definitely scoot backwards and turn in circles pretty quickly!
