So blessed to celebrate the real reason for Easter: Jesus's death and resurrection! So thankful that Jesus paid the ultimate sacrifice for us and that we get to live in freedom because of Him!
After church we had a big Easter dinner: complete with turkey, mashed potatoes, vegetables, rolls, and pie! Thanks mom for the wonderful dinner!
Reading some books with daddy before dinner!
And playing some games with Uncle Brett!
Cayden's Easter basket: a combined basket from Mommy, Daddy, Grandma, Grandpa, and Oma, and Opa! We just put it all in one basket!!
Our own little Easter egg hunt in the house since it was raining outside :(
Cayden enjoyed it!
Grandpa helping a little bit!
Cayden is a pro at finding Easter eggs now and this is the last year he gets to find all the eggs . . . we will see how that goes next year :)!
Counting all his eggs!
Cayden's Easter eggs!
Opening them all up!
Needed some help from Aunt Natasha though :)!
Cayden with his Easter Basket! Thanks Grandparents for the Easter presents!!
Had to get a picture of my dad in this lovely flowered apron carving the turkey :)
Cayden and Daddy playing baseball with his new bases from Oma and Opa! Thanks guys! He loves them!!
We had a wonderful, relaxing day hanging out with family and celebrating that Jesus is Alive!!!!!!

It was crazy once it started because the older kids pretty much dominated the little kids, but Cayden still got quite a few eggs :)
Finding the eggs!
He wasn't too fast and always ran past the eggs, I think he thought he was just supposed to run :)
He found one!
Looking for more eggs!
And instead he found a golf ball which he was way more excited about anyways :)
My little boy!! So grown up!
There were two parts to the egg hunt, so here he is waiting to get more eggs so that he could mini golf-that is what he really wanted to do the whole time!
Grandpa had to assist him in all this craziness!
Looking through his eggs with Grandpa and Grandma!
And finally miniature golfing!
Cayden is actually pretty good!!
We had weather in the 70s so we were pumped and it was a great day to be outside enjoying the wonderful sunshine!
On Saturday night we had pizza in the park and then came back and celebrated my birthday since my birthday was on the 18th. Of course we had to have our famous Dairy Queen cake! So good!
