Happy Easter!

So blessed to celebrate the real reason for Easter: Jesus's death and resurrection! So thankful that Jesus paid the ultimate sacrifice for us and that we get to live in freedom because of Him!
After church we had a big Easter dinner: complete with turkey, mashed potatoes, vegetables, rolls, and pie! Thanks mom for the wonderful dinner!
Reading some books with daddy before dinner!
And playing some games with Uncle Brett!
Cayden's Easter basket: a combined basket from Mommy, Daddy, Grandma, Grandpa, and Oma, and Opa! We just put it all in one basket!!
Our own little Easter egg hunt in the house since it was raining outside :(
Cayden enjoyed it!
Grandpa helping a little bit!
Cayden is a pro at finding Easter eggs now and this is the last year he gets to find all the eggs . . . we will see how that goes next year :)!
Counting all his eggs!
Cayden's Easter eggs!
Opening them all up!
Needed some help from Aunt Natasha though :)!
Cayden with his Easter Basket! Thanks Grandparents for the Easter presents!!
Had to get a picture of my dad in this lovely flowered apron carving the turkey :)
Cayden and Daddy playing baseball with his new bases from Oma and Opa! Thanks guys! He loves them!!
We had a wonderful, relaxing day hanging out with family and celebrating that Jesus is Alive!!!!!!

Easter Pictures!

Since Saturday was so nice outside, I had to take Cayden's Easter pictures outside since rain was in the forecast for Sunday! He looked so handsome in his shirt and tie! Love it!!

Cayden is getting so much better at taking quick pictures and then being done! Unfortunately, he may have to endure this for his lifetime from his mommy who is obsessed with taking pictures :)!

Easter Egg Hunt and Miniature Golf!

My parents, Brett, and Natasha came down to Happy Valley for Easter weekend (April 22-24)! Since I am due in the next few weeks, it was a little easier for them to come down here then for us to go up there! So blessed they came down, we had some wonderful family time, although missing a few members!
On Saturday morning a local golf course had a major event for children. They had a huge Easter egg hunt complete with mini golf afterwards! They had food, contests, and the Easter bunny (although Cayden was scared of her)! We thought this would be the perfect place for Cayden to do the Easter egg hunt because it had mini golfing too!
Waiting for the egg hunt to start!
It was crazy once it started because the older kids pretty much dominated the little kids, but Cayden still got quite a few eggs :)
Finding the eggs!
He wasn't too fast and always ran past the eggs, I think he thought he was just supposed to run :)
He found one!
Looking for more eggs!
And instead he found a golf ball which he was way more excited about anyways :)
My little boy!! So grown up!
There were two parts to the egg hunt, so here he is waiting to get more eggs so that he could mini golf-that is what he really wanted to do the whole time!
Grandpa had to assist him in all this craziness!
Looking through his eggs with Grandpa and Grandma!
And finally miniature golfing!
Cayden is actually pretty good!!
We had weather in the 70s so we were pumped and it was a great day to be outside enjoying the wonderful sunshine!
On Saturday night we had pizza in the park and then came back and celebrated my birthday since my birthday was on the 18th. Of course we had to have our famous Dairy Queen cake! So good!
My family :)! Sorry not too photogenic at this stage of pregnancy! Can't wait for this little boy to make his grand appearance!

Soccer Practice :)

Cayden loves to play sports-big surprise huh? So when we get the opportunity to go to the park or play outside we take his bag of sports and pretty much play the entire time! He loves to practice his soccer skills with daddy!
"I'm Open Dad"
Concentrating
Trying to get the ball from daddy!
Love this picture, he is so into it :)
And just so everyone knows I am still alive and growing, here is a picture of me at 37 1/2 weeks! Can't wait for our baby boy to arrive!!
I put Cayden's soccer goal outside in the backyard, Cayden loves this!
Such a good little soccer player :) Can't wait to watch him play someday!!! For now I will settle for all our practicing!!!!

Baby Shower Weekend!

Cayden and I drove up to Seattle for the weekend of April 8-11 because my family and friends were throwing me a baby shower on Saturday! Since Matthew works the weekends, we left him behind for a few days :(, it will be nice when he doesn't have to work every weekend eventually!!
On Friday, we had some lovely weather so we took advantage and took Cayden to the park!
He was loving the opportunity to be outside, summer can't get here soon enough!
Growing up!
Getting help from Aunt Natasha!
Playing tag with Uncle Brett :)
And he loves swinging on the big boy swings now! How did he grow up so fast?!
On Saturday was my baby shower-here are some of the decorations :)
The table-so cute!!
My mom, Joy, Courtney, and Natasha all collectively put the baby shower together! Thanks guys it was wonderful!
Joy leading the games :)
Playing the games!

More decorations!
Opening some presents! I was so blessed with a lot of new clothes and other essentials for our new baby boy :)! Thanks everyone, I felt so loved and blessed! Our new little boy will be stylish!
Kaylee and Cayden got to hang out for awhile too :)
Saying good-bye to Kaylee, Cayden adores her!
We had a great weekend away! Cayden was even able to go to Grandma's preschool on Monday, he loves to do that and I love sleeping in :)!
