On our final full day left in Pella (July 23). We went back to where Matthew and I worked for two whole weeks one summer: Adventure Land! It was fun being able to bring Cayden to an amusement park and have him actually be able to ride the rides! He had a blast and it was a non-stop adventure with a 2 1/2 year old who was able to ride unlimited amount of rides :)!

First ride: the Airplanes, he was a little hesitant!

Holding on tight!

Cayden would refuse to look at us so he would turn away from us and try not to smile although he couldn't hold in his smiles because he LOVED the rides!

Bumper cars with Aunt Annaleyza!

Semi-truck ride and in number 4-which seems to be his all time favorite number!

Waiting to ride the boats with Oma and Opa!

Boat ride!

Wagon wheel with Mommy!

Here is where I worked for the two weeks I worked at Adventureland: The Outlaw roller coaster!

The dragon by himself, was unsure of this ride . . .

So Aunt Annaleyza rode with him the second time around!

Here is where Matthew worked the Dragon roller coaster

The Ladybugs!

I forget what this ride was called, but their facial expressions say it all :)

Waiting with Opa and having a snack!

The Hot Air Balloon ride: Cayden and I both hated this ride and it just kept going in circles pretty fast-made me feel so sick!!

A new part to Adventureland is their Adventure Bay-the water park portion of the park! It was super humid that day so it felt amazing to cool off after riding the rides!

Cayden's first time down the water slide!

He loved it-and he would not put down the water gun the entire time-I guess it was some security for him, I don't know!

Having a blast!

Opa, Cayden, and Oma right before the big bucket of water starting spilling all over them!

Here it is-bucket of water falling :)

More slides

He went down this one dozens of times!

Cayden and Opa

Then he tried the bigger tube slide

Oma had to catch him!

Going again and loving it!

More water . . .

Aunt Annaleyza and Cayden (and the water gun)

Family picture!

He crashed right when we got in the car, he was so exhausted after all the fun!

Thanks Oma and Opa for a great day at Adventureland!
