De Haan Christmas Part 1!

We left really early on the morning of the 28th from Seattle to fly to Des Moines to spend about 6 days in Pella, IA with Matthew's family! Cayden did wonderful on the flights, it was Mommy that was so tired and had to sleep on the plane while Cayden played and watched his DVDs! We arrived there and had lunch in Des Moines before heading to Pella. We even got to see Matthew's Aunt, Uncle, and cousins from Michigan who were still visiting.
On Wednesday we headed back to Des Moines. For Christmas this year, Matthew's parents took us all to stay at the Ramada Inn where they have a pretty big water park inside for the kids to play at. Cayden and Bella both seem to like playing in the water so it was a lot of fun for them! Thankfully, I just got to be the photographer this time :) Maybe next year when I am not pregnant :)!!

Big splash!
Cayden went on these slides a ton and would not stop!
Daddy was in charge of Cayden in the pool :)

This was the best picture I got of them :)

After we went out for dinner we came back to the hotel to celebrate Cayden's 3rd birthday!
Here is the cake Oma got for him-the cupcakes were seriously so good!!!

Bella was feeling left out so she joined in too :)
Sorry it is blurry but this was all I got of him eating his cupcake!
Bella really enjoyed these too :) She was soon covered in blue :)!

Matthew got to open his birthday presents too from his family!
Oma and Opa got Cayden a pizza kit :)
Opening more presents!
Uncle Derek and Aunt Lindsey and Bella got Cayden some Legos!
Aunt Annaleyza got Cayden some sweet pop up soccer goals that were sent to our house and are now in our "soccer field" and are played with on a daily basis! Thanks everyone for the wonderful presents and birthday party for Cayden! We had a lot of fun spending time with the whole family. Thank you Oma and Opa/Mom and Dad for taking us and letting us make some good memories!!!
