Congratulations Matthew!!!

After 23 years straight of going to school, Matthew officially finished classes in the beginning of July and I couldn't be more proud!! He isn't officially done with his program but he will no longer have to take classes, only work at his new internship in Oregon! We couldn't be happier about a more "normal" schedule coming our way!
I wanted to be able to celebrate Matthew and his accomplishments so I decided to throw a Surprise Party for him on July 13th and invite people who have walked this journey with us for the past four years! One thing about surprise parties that I don't like is that I have to keep a secret and then lie about it . . . it is very stressful for me and I was a ball of nerves for three days straight! Thankfully Matthew was surprised and a lot of friends came out and supported us and joined us in eating pizza, watermelon, and brownies. We have been blessed with such dear friends while we have been in Azusa and we were happy to have everyone join us-thanks everyone!! Here are some pictures from the party!
Matthew chatting up with some of our friends!
Brenda was a huge help in the planning and organizing! She stored all the supplies and food at her house, set up the party at the park, and Charlie (her husband) picked up the pizza! Thanks so much guys, definitely couldn't have done it without you!
Pizza Time

There were a lot of kids there and they all had a blast playing together!

Hanging Out

I think Cayden came home with a scratch, a bruise, or a cut on every single limb of his body from playing so hard! He didn't mind . . . he is such a BOY and once again took full advantage of his time with his friends and LOVED every single minute of it!!
Congratulations Matthew! I am so proud of you and all your accomplishments! So happy to be on this journey with you and super glad you will be home at a decent time now that you don't have class til 10:00 anymore :)! Cayden and I love you so much!!
