On Saturday (the 3rd of July) we went to the 4th of July parade in La Verne. We went with our good friends the Konoskes. It was actually a pretty good parade and the kids got a lot of candy and other items-which was probably their highlight :)! My highlight was seeing how excited Cayden would get at the possibility of getting candy from the people in the parade, we decided that the louder you yell, the more candy they threw your way, the kids definitely picked up on that! Here are some pictures of our fun time!!

Doesn't really know what to think of the parade

Til he got a necklace and started dancing to the music!

Yea! Candy time!

Now this is when the kids started to get into it

Crazy kid!

I think this is pretty cute with the American flag/half smile

Pretty much over it

This was everything Cayden got at the parade: 1 American Flag, 1 American Flag sticker, 1 Squeeze and Brush Art Set, 1 Sketching Art Crayons from Paris ($30 on Amazon), 2 free frozen yogurts at 21 Choices, 5 Beaded Necklaces, and a Bowl full of candy! He did pretty well if I do say so myself: the art stuff was a crazy surprise to all of us :)!

All in all a great fun family event! I love doing fun things with our little family and of course with our friends :)!
