Last week June 21-25, I helped out with Vacation Bible Adventure. The theme was Magician or Messiah and my friend Brenda and I signed up to hang out with the 5th Graders all week long. The reason we wanted to work with the 5th Graders was that it was the furthest away from our own children and our own daily routines. One major bonus was that they could go to the bathroom by themselves!! I had a lot of fun hanging out with the 5th graders and mixing up our daily routine, although by the end of the week I was exhausted! I am so thankful that most churches have VBA or VBS programs during the summer and am looking forward to Cayden getting to participate soon! Cayden is unable to go to the actual programs but he went to his own VBA class AKA: Nursery! He had so much fun hanging out with his teachers and his friends all week and was also exhausted by the end of the week!
Here is who Cayden got to hang out with all week! He began to call her Grandma the second day and by the end of the week the other children were calling her Grandma! He absolutely loved her!
