On Friday, January 29, just about 3 weeks after Cayden's actual 2nd birthday, we finally got around to having a small but fun party for him with some of his friends. Since a couple of Cayden's favorite activities lately have been watching football with Daddy and also throwing the football around, we decided to give him a football party!

Cayden had to be restrained a couple of times because he thought that a football party meant he could tackle his friends.
Cayden received his first set of golf clubs. Unfortunately, he appears to want to swing them left handed and they are right handed clubs!
Cayden's friends gave him a number of books as well! He'll probably enjoy those more when his friends aren't around!
Cayden blew out his candles before we could sing "Happy Birthday"
Cayden needed some "encouragement" to actually dig in to his cake and risk getting dirty!
He had a easier time making a mess of a cupcake so we let him have that and we saved the cake for later!
The "kids" also got a chance to decorate some paper bags which we filled with candy and prizes for them! This included Uncle Brett and his friends!
The little kids with their bags! We had a great time and Cayden enjoyed having fun with his friends when he wasn't trying to tackle them or take the footballs away from them! Thanks everybody and Happy Birthday Cayden!

I agree, that cake was super cute. And pretty funny that he wanted the cupcake over the football cake. Did you skip the party at the park idea? It looks like you had lots of fun anyway. :)
