A Fun and Busy Day!

This morning I finally became motivated to make pancakes for Cayden since this has become one of his new favorites.  He ate them right up!  As you can see one of the pancakes turned out with a star on one side . . . pretty talented I must say :)!

We then adventured out to PETCO with GUM and had a good time looking at all the animals.  I must say that it is a lot of work taking Cayden on a field trip because he would rather run up and down the aisles then look at the animals.  So I spent an hour trying to keep him somewhat near the animals and the other children :)!  We then met everyone for lunch and gave the children a chance to play on the play equipment at McDonalds.  We had a lot of fun!

Cayden got a treat bag from PETCO and so I let him try his sucker.  He wasn't too into it, thankfully!
He also got some stickers and crayons so I had him do a little art project.  He enjoyed it for a few minutes.
Time to color!
The finished product . . . I think that is refrigerator worthy, so now we can enjoy it for awhile!
I spent some time trying to get a picture of his new shoes, this was the best I got right before we went out the door :)!
Tonight I had my photography class so I dropped Cayden off with Uncle Brett (only a few tears shed!) and then I went to pick him up at his soccer game.  Cayden was enjoying hanging out with some of Uncle Brett's friend and watching the boys play soccer!  Thanks Uncle Brett!  We are looking forward to the weekend where Daddy can spend some quality time with Cayden!
