Here are some pictures of Cayden "sweeping" the deck. He was trying to help me but we still need to let him practice more :)! The main thing is that he had a ton of fun and he got some of his energy out!
We had a great week and once again stayed pretty busy. Seems to be the trend lately. The park has been our best friend lately and we have been having many play dates there. Now the "winter" weather has finally kicked in as of today and it has been raining since this afternoon. Thankfully it started after we were done with Cayden's outdoor pictures. We finally worked out a time to get his one year pictures done by Brett's roommate. He did Cayden's 9 month pictures and did a fantastic job! I can't wait to see the final product! Tonight I (Melissa) started a photography class with a friend from GUM. This is just a basic class but I am super excited about it . . . hopefully I will learn a lot! I was so thankful that Brett watched Cayden for the few hours. It was so nice to go out and do something besides mom stuff for a change! As much as I love being Cayden's mom, I think it is important that I continue to pursue my interests and this just gives me a good out! Matthew continues to stay busy with work, internship, classes, homework, being a father and a husband. Wow! He is busy but we have been improving on the balance this semester and so far so good! I can't believe we are to the weekend already, the weeks sure fly!
