Two weeks!

Well, today is Cayden's two week birthday. It is crazy to think that two weeks ago we were just about to have our first night with Cayden. These past two weeks have been absolutely crazy and a very big adjustment. We are all trying to get used to each other and figure out a schedule that will work for all of us. Cayden had his two week appointment yesterday afternoon and he weighed in at 8 pounds 1 oz and is now 22 inches long. The doctor said that everything looks good and that Cayden is still healthy! We are thankful that God gave us a healthy little boy. We can already see changes in him, it is amazing how quickly a baby can change. Now that we are getting the feeding thing down, we are able to get a lot more accomplished.
So after two and a half weeks, my mom left to go back to Seattle. We have been spoiled the past couple of weeks as she has been helping us out a lot!!!! We are very thankful that she was able to stay and help for so long. We have more to look forward to as Matthew's parents come in tomorrow night and then we still have a few more siblings coming in the next couple of weeks, definitely helps to keep us busy.
So we are glad to report that everything is going well and that we are having fun getting to know Cayden and all his little crazy cries . . . he does NOT like to be cold we know that much :)! He is a great baby so far and we pray that continues as he continues to grow. Thanks for all your prayers and support!
