As of today Cayden is a month old! The past few weeks have gone by really quickly and has definitely been an adjustment time for each of us. Most of our family has been here, in a couple of weeks my sister will be coming and that will end the steady stream of people visiting for awhile. We have had a lot of fun introducing Cayden to all our family members. Now we are back to "normal" life (I don't really know what is normal anymore). I am learning how to be a stay at home mom and working on a more normal schedule for Cayden. Matthew is able to get back in the swing of things with school and staying very busy. It is nice that Matthew has a couple of breaks throughout the day so that he can come home and keep me company.
We had a doctor's appointment yesterday because we thought that Cayden may have thrush but thankfully he does not and is still very healthy. He now weighs 9 pounds 3 oz and is still 22 inches long. I can definitely tell that he is growing since he is growing out of his newborn clothes and is getting heavier. Melissa I just looked thru some pics on smug mug, and I've got to say Cayden is SO cute - I can now be ok if we're having a boy, knowing that sometimes they are as cute as him. Seriously! I just can't get over it! You got lots of great pictures with his eyes open, SO fun!
He is beautiful! Thanks again for the phone call- it is always good to catch up with you. We will be praying for the transition as you attempt to get Cayden on a schedule and get a little more sleep :)
