After Monterey we headed up to San Francisco. We got there on Wednesday night August 18 and went out for dinner and just relaxed in the hotel. This of course included swimming and just running around-Cayden was being a rock star in the car and needed to get rid of some energy!

On Thursday August 19, we went and saw some of the main attractions of San Francisco! This of course included going to Golden Gate Bridge Park and taking our pictures by the bridge!
Cayden didn't understand what all the excitement was about :)!
It was also very foggy in the morning so we didn't quite see it all but oh well!

We then went to Ghirardelli Square and had their famous Hot Fudge Sundae!
Since this was before lunch time we all shared one and it was pretty big!
Cayden really enjoyed it!
Obviously we had no problem finishing it all :)!

We walked around the Fisherman's Wharf for awhile, had soup in a bread bowl, and almost lost Cayden. That is when we decided it was time to leave the lovely city of San Francisco. It had already been a long few days of traveling and we still wanted to make it to Chico, CA where we would just hang out before meeting up with Matthew's mom and sister the next day!
Here we are trying to relax after our crazy day in San Francisco. Cayden's favorite part of the trip was where he could just swim and hang out!
What he really loved was the "Hot One" or the Hot Tub. He would swim all the time in there if we let him but we always made him start in the pool :)!

The rest of our trip was pretty uneventful and therefore I didn't take any pictures or maybe I was just tired of taking pictures at that point :)! We met up with Matthew's mom and Annaleyza on Friday afternoon in Redding, CA. They picked up our second car at the Schuring's house allowing us to take our family trip! We met at the last In-N-Out for lunch as we knew this would be our last time eating there for awhile. We then drove a ton and made it to Eugene, OR for the night (about 2 hours away from our new home)! We were so proud of Matthew's mom and sister as they drove a majority of the trip in about a day! They were awesome!!
