On June 10, we woke up at 4 am and flew to Portland, OR where we started our house search almost immediately when we landed. If anyone has ever seen the show House Hunters, we seriously felt like we were on the show. But instead of only seeing three houses we saw 8-10 houses with in a matter of a day and a half. We weighed all our options-some were a definite "no" right when we saw them but others were put on our list of maybes! After only a day and a half we picked the house we will live in for the next year! We were able to meet with the owner who was super gracious and let us do all the paper work before he checked our credit (which cleared a few days later :) ) and we are super excited where we will be living! We are going to be living in Happy Valley just South East of Portland and fairly close to Matthew's work and super close to EVERYTHING! A great location and we are definitely excited to move into a house for a change-even though we are not going to be able to fill the house at all :), oh well extra space for Cayden to run! Sorry no pictures of the house, it was just too much of a whirlwind that we never took any pictures after we made our decision! Here are a few pictures of our first day and a half!

Aunt Natasha actually graciously drove down with Uncle Brett to pick us up at the airport and go on our house hunter adventure. We found a park pretty close to us and we thought we would give Cayden a much needed break!
