So yeah . . . it has been a very long time since I have written anything. Our lives have been insane the past month or so. We have had non stop people here and blogging has been the last thing on my mind (or on my mind but had to make last priority). So I will have to start from where I left off because I have lots of great pictures to share of what our life has looked like the past month :)!
Two of my close friends, Joy and Val, flew down from Seattle on March 10 to visit/get away with the three of us girls for a girls weekend! They came early so that they could visit the Happiest Place on Earth (according to Val at least :) )!
On Friday we took off for the weekend to Santa Barbara. Matthew was so kind to stay home with Cayden the whole weekend-which they had a blast together, including a trip to Chuck-E-Cheese :)! It was absolutely beautiful there and we had a great time! We did a lot of relaxing, walking, talking, watching movies, reading, eating, and just hanging out! A great weekend! We rented a bike that is called a Suri. Basically 6 people could ride on this bike even though we only had three of us. We had a lot of fun and biked many miles on this thing!

We had so much fun and it was a nice break away from my crazy life with a 2 year old :) (although I couldn't wait to see my two boys again after 3 days)!! Thanks for coming down guys!
