The last few days were spent at sea and in Victoria, British Columbia. We were able to spend two more day relaxing and getting caught up on sleep before heading back to the real world.
Here we are all dressed up ready for our last formal night at dinner!

Here are the servers for our table, they were so great to us! The last night the do a little parade and serve us a special dessert: Baked Alaska (ice cream dessert). Everyone was taking pictures like crazy, it was kind of funny!

Here are the two families that we ate with. They are from Mexico City, Mexico and they primarily spoke Spanish. At first it was a little difficult to communicate but by the end we had it down and they were able to translate for us in English some of what they were saying. They were super nice!

The last port we stopped in was Victoria, B.C. and our plan was to go downtown and walk around and see what we could see. So we took a bus into town and began walking around. This lasted maybe 45 minutes and then it started pouring rain like crazy. So we waited it out for a little bit but then decided we should just head back to the boat and spend the rest of our time on there.

Here is a view of Victoria from our deck!

And another one (while it was still sunny, so crazy how fast the weather changed!)

Victoria, B.C.

Although we were only downtown for a short time we were able to see some really good sights. Here is the famous Empress Hotel.

Matthew and I with Victoria in the background.

The Parliament Building

Statue of Queen Victoria

Random guy who was performing on the streets. It was pretty cool but he had to quit since it started to pour rain and it could have been quite dangerous!

Our ship!

Matthew giving a recap of what we did in Victoria on the video camera (he was quite good at commentating our events of the entire trip!).

Here are some pictures of our little room including the veranda! It was cozy but it was nice!

Another view of our room complete with our bed turned down for the evening (something our room attendants did every morning and evening, complete with two chocolates!).

Bathroom, very small!

One last picture to finish up our cruise! This was when we were still in Victoria!

We had a blast and have realized how important it is for us to do vacations together (even if it isn't a huge trip)! It was a good week for us to focus on "us" and to get away from everything for awhile. What a blessing it was! We do want to thank my parents for watching Cayden while we were gone! I know they had fun and we did too! We did really miss Cayden though and were so happy to see him again. He acted a little weird at first but he soon warmed up to us and then only wanted to be by us (mostly me :) )! I guess he thought we might leave again, even if we were only going in another room! So this wraps up our Alaska trip and now I will work on getting caught up on the rest of our Seattle trip . . .
