Our Baby Boy is One!

Happy Birthday to our sweet, precious baby boy.  It is hard to believe that a year ago we were in the hospital attempting our first night at being parents.  A lot has changed since then and we have fallen in love with Cayden.  He has a contagious smile and a zest for life.  We love how he seems to never run out of energy no matter how tired he is!  He never ceases to amaze us in how smart he is becoming.  He surprises us each day with the things he is learning.  God has truly blessed us with such a loving, energetic, entertaining, and precious boy.  We pray that as he grows up he will truly feel the love of Christ.  Happy Birthday Cayden!  We love you so very much and are thankful to God for the gift he has given us!

This was taken today on the way to the airport . . . we flew back to Azusa on his birthday, not a very fun birthday but he did pretty well considering being stuck on an airplane for a few hours!

When we got home we had Uncle Brett come over for dinner (we ate Cayden's favorite food, proven to be pizza) and Uncle Brett brought him over a present. He was cracking himself us playing with the boys, such a silly boy!

He got the ever so famous John Deer Combine, he was pretty excited about it.

We had his birthday party a few weeks ago in Seattle, I will post pictures of that soon, once I get reorganized!  We are hoping to have a small party here on Sunday afternoon with Matthew's sister, Annaleyza and some close friends.
