I forgot to mention last week that on the day Cayden received his immunizations he rolled over for the first time. I had laid Cayden down for a nap in the afternoon (on his stomach) and about 20 minutes later I started to hear him stir. I decided that I wouldn't go in and check on him until he started to cry. Well, he started to cry and I went in to check on him and he was on his back. So he rolled over and I missed it! Then later that night Matthew was having Cayden play on his stomach to build his neck muscles and he rolled over again. I missed it again! So I haven't seen him do it since so I will keep waiting.
The next possible milestone was on last Saturday night. We arrived in Texas on Friday to meet up with Matthew's family for a little vacation and on Saturday night he slept 7 hours straight, all the way until 6:30 a.m.! Wahoo!!! Matthew and I woke up and gave each other a high five because we were a little shocked and then Cayden decided it was happy time for the next hour. We thought that he deserved our attention after sleeping that long so we played with him and then all went back to sleep at 7:30. That was a great night but unfortunately this hasn't happened since, but I can keep hoping this will happen sometime in the near future. Other then that he has been very playful during his happy times (maybe 20 minutes to a 1/2 hour), blowing bubbles is his new thing, and the latest thing is sucking on his hands a lot and on my clothes when I hold him. It is just getting much more fun each day! What a blessing he is to Matthew and I.
So we are now currently in Pella, IA until Sunday and then next week I will post more about what we did on our trip with pictures. That is if we ever get our luggage back (hopefully soon!). More on that story later!
