5 Months!!!!

Wow! Cayden is now 5 months old! My has the time flown by, we have been looking back at pictures recently and wonder where our little baby has gone to. He looks so different then when we brought him home from the hospital and our lives have definitely changed a ton. Cayden has become so active and always wants to be moving. I am afraid we may have our hands full when he starts crawling and walking. Speaking of crawling, Cayden continues to try to crawl and is getting closer. He can scoot himself from point A to point B and may take some time but he is so determined to get what he wants!
Cayden is now consistently sleeping through the night, yea! What a relief and now it is strange when he wakes up in the middle of the night, what a good change! Another recent change in the past couple of weeks Cayden has a new bedtime of anywhere between 7:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. There are those exceptions when we may be out and about but for the most part this has been consistent.
This past weekend our friends are house sitting and were kind enough to have us over there on Saturday and Sunday afternoon to swim in their awesome swimming pool. It was so nice to be able to take Cayden in a private pool with not so many people around. He was actually enjoying himself. We had a great time hanging out, barbecuing, roasting smores over the fire, and hanging out with our friends!
Matthew officially has two more classes (2 more Monday nights) until he is done for the summer. He will however be starting his year long internship on July 10, so he will have yet another schedule change.
I heard some great news from my cousin, Kelli, today. Her and her husband Mark found out that they finally received a referral to adopt a baby girl from Ethiopia! Her name is Ruby Grace Ten Haken, can't wait to see pictures! After months of waiting, we praise God that there is an end in sight until they get to bring their baby home!

To see all the new pictures we have posted the most recent ones on our smugmug! Oh and thanks for the prayers, Cayden is doing much better as the antibiotics have kicked in!!
